Somewhere along the way, life got busy. Careers, marriages, raising families, being the ultimate "show mom" or "4-H mom" — there was always someone or something that needed to come first. And somewhere in the middle of it all, that childhood dream of riding horses never quite went away.

Maybe it's been five years, twenty years, or even thirty years since you last swung a leg over a horse. Maybe you've always dreamed of riding again but haven't found the right opportunity, the right people, or someone who shares your passion.

Red Hats & Purple Chaps is a group of women who share a love of horses, adventure, laughter, and friendship. We're women who know that life doesn't stop being fun at any age, and neither does the dream of riding.

We camp, trail ride, explore new places, participate in small-town parades, and even take on some really, really BIG ones! We make memories, build friendships, encourage one another, and celebrate the freedom and fun that come with being in the saddle.

Whether you're an experienced rider, returning to horses after many years, or simply looking for a group of like-minded women to share the adventure, there's a place for you here.
